HONONEGAH HIGH SCHOOL- MULTI-PURPOSE FIELD HOUSE  | Visit Site |

FACILITY SPECIFICATIONS

The ASATI Hononegah dome is the region’s largest open floor space arena spanning 330’ long, 180’ wide x 55’ high.   The new field house dome boasts 59,400 sq. ft. (about 1.3 acres) of indoor recreational space, plenty for an 8-lane, 200-meter track and 4 full size basketball/volleyball courts.  The flexibilities of the floor plan allows the dome to be used as a single large arena allowing for special events, like an expo.

The ASATI Sports Dome field house is engineered by ASATI to withstand more than 120 mph winds and snow loads greater than 40 lbs. per sq. ft.  The operating cost for the Hononegah Dome is less than $1.00 per sq. foot per year (approximately $53,000.00).

The 70 DAFT HANGLITE® lighting system provides 60 foot candles of indirect glare free sports lighting over the entire playing areas. THE DAFT Hanglite system when tested against all other lighting systems proves to provide double the foot candles while reducing electric cost by more then 30%.
