The
Oklahoma State Fair is a spectacular 83,432 sq. ft. vinyl
polyester fabric air supported structure roof that was erected
over four 20-foot high concrete walls that surround the area.
With hundreds of exhibitors gathered under one roof, Oklahoma
State Fair management was provided with a promotional advantage
for attracting larger and wider audiences.
The fabric
is highly translucent, providing over 1000-foot candle of
natural light within the structure during daytime hours. The
total roof structure is constructed with a dual wall system,
which provides excellent thermal insulation without sacrificing
the natural light penetration for allowing the facility to be
used without the high energy cost for operating artificial
lighting.
ASATI
engineered this facility and manufactured it to provide an
economically practical facility that meets local and state
safety codes of Oklahoma.
