ASATI/Paddock Chevrolet Golf Dome allows golfers to use every
club in the bag without concern of hitting the walls or the roof
of this huge golf dome. The golf dome clear spans 350’ long x
270’ wide x 82’ high providing a total enclosures over 94,500
sq. ft. of multi-recreation. This over 2-acre size dome
provides total enclosure for 48 driving range tee stations, a
3,500 sq. ft. putting & chipping green & the most picturesque
18-hole Brighton Bay Miniature Golf Course.
The ASATI bias cable net dome provides the
structural rigidity for supporting 40 lbs. of snow load per sq.
ft. & 125 mph wind. The total interior of this huge dome is
heated by the ASATI forced hot air heating system with automatic
controls for maintaining 70 deg. within the structure when
outside temperatures are as low as 20 deg. below zero. The
structure is made of 2 layers cutting the cost of heating the
facility in half. The highly translucent stay clean white
envelope provides over
1,000-foot
candles of natural energy free lighting to the interior during
the daytime hours.
The 56
DAFT HANGLITE® lighting system provides 60 foot candles of
indirect glare free sports lighting over the entire playing
areas. THE DAFT Hanglite system when tested against all other
lighting systems proves to provide double the foot candles while
reducing electric cost by more then 30%. |
